Sony Pictures is releasing the live action adaptation of 'Until Dawn' this Friday, April 25, globally. Weirdly enough, the movie hasn't had early premieres or reviews by any critics yet, and the only promo of the sort that we've seen is an upcoming competition "Survive Until Dawn", where attendees will have to be inside the theater watching the movie on loop without any bathroom breaks or sleeping, all throughout different cities of the US.
The survival horror movie starring Ella Rubin ('The Girl from Plainville'), Odessa A'Zion ('Grand Army'), Michael Cimino ('Love, Victor'), Ji-young Yoo ('Expats') and Belmont Cameli ('Saved by the Bell') as the main cast, following a group of friends going back to the place where Melanie (Maia Mitchell), Clover's (Rubin) sister, disappeared exactly after one year in the hopes that they would find answers about whatever happened to her, only to end up brutally murdered one by one. After waking up and reliving the day over again, the group understands that they have to survive the night at the valley if they want to break the time loop.
Just like the game, the movie looks like it will be a bloody and horrifying fun time at the theater, with lots of screams and stressful tense moments, and for they have shown in the trailers, they are not cutting up on monsters and special make up.
If you're a fan of horror movies and time loops, this is the perfect choice for your weekend. Even if you haven't played the game.
