Apple TV+ just shared the first official trailer and release date for British filmmaker Guy Ritchie's upcoming film 'Fountain of Youth'. An Adventure and heist film led by John Krasinski ('A Quiet Place') and Natalie Portman ('May December').
The film is one of the three upcoming Ritchie's films, since he already has two other movies 'In The Grey' and 'Wife & Dog' in post-production and filming underway respectively, set to release as soon as possible, and he's been working and putting out new films at least once a year, with him writing, directing and producing all of them, while writing most of them with some exceptions.
'Fountain of Youth' is one of those exceptions, since the screenplay for this new 'Indiana Jones' type of film is by James Vanderbilt, known for films like 'Zodiac' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man'. The film will follow the Purdue siblings, Luke (Krasinski) and Charlotte (Portman), as Luke tries to get his sister to join him and his team in a new mission after years of not talking, with the promise of finding something life changing at the end of this journey if she decides to help them.
Other members of the cast include Eiza Gonzalez ('I Care A Lot'), Domhnall Gleeson ('Ex Machina') and Carmen Ejogo ('Alien: Covenant') as the other member of Luke's team, with actors like Stanley Tucci ('Conclave'), Laz Alonso ('Avatar') and Arian Moayed ('Succession') in undisclosed roles.
The film will start streaming on Apple TV+ this May 23, so make sure you're adding it to your watchlist if you're a fan of heist movies or intellectual properties like 'Indiana Jones' or 'Lara Croft', since this is completely along those lines.
