The new trailer for Wolfs, the film that reunites Brad Pitt and George Clooney in an explosive action comedy, is now available. The film, directed by Jon Watts, will hit theaters on September 20, 2024, under Sony Pictures distribution and will later arrive on Apple TV+. The plot revolves around two lonely repairmen who has to work together after receiving the same assignment. The revealed teaser shows Clooney preparing to cover up what appears to be a bloody murder, while securing a woman. Seconds later, Pitt enters the scene in similar attire, suggesting an impending conflict between the two characters.
The cast also includes Austin Abrams, Amy Ryan and Poorna Jagannathan. In addition, Pitt and Clooney not only act, but also serve as producers through their respective companies, Plan B Productions and Smokehouse Pictures. Apple is the third studio with an interest, having won a bidding war against Sony, Lionsgate and Netflix for the movie package. This project marks the first cinematic reunion between Pitt and Clooney since their work together on the Ocean's films and 2008's Burn After Reading. As for their recent careers, Pitt appeared in Damien Chazelle's Babylon, while Clooney reprised his role as Bruce Wayne in DC's The Flash.
As for the supporting cast, Austin Abrams is known for his roles in teen-themed series such as Euphoria, and Dash and Lily, among others. Amy Ryan, with an extensive career in theater and film, she has performances in Gone Baby Gone. Everyone knows Poorna Jagannathan for her roles in Mindy Kaling's Never Have I Ever. Meanwhile, director Jon Watts has gained notoriety for his work on the Spider-Man films in the MCU, starring Tom Holland.
