Brad Pitt becomes a Formula 1 driver in the trailer for 'F1.'

Contemporary cinema has remarkably explored the thrilling universe of racing in recent years. Landmark examples abound, but perhaps none as outstanding as Ford vs Ferrari, directed by James Mangold (known for films such as Logan), which features stellar performances by Matt Damon (Oppenheimer) and Christian Bale (Batman Begins). Now, a new feature film joins this prestigious list with F1, promising to take the viewer to dizzying speeds and intense emotions in the exciting world of elite motor racing.

F1 is the upcoming movie that will explore the fascinating world of cars, as shown in the recently released teaser. The film will be produced by Apple Original Films (known for Napoleon), while its worldwide distribution will be handled by Warner Bros. As revealed in the first teaser, the plot follows a former driver who returns to the world of Formula 1, teaming up with a teammate in APXGP, a fictional team. Also, in the images seen, the protagonist tells his engineer: 'We need to build our car for the fight,' to the frenetic beat of Queen's We Will Rock You, suggesting that the film promises intense action sequences and pure speed.

The cast is led by Brad Pitt, accompanied by Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Top Gun: Maverick, leaves behind the airplanes to direct this new project. In fact, the remarkable thing about this film is the close collaboration with Formula 1 and its 10 teams, which guarantees absolute access to the tracks and a deep integration into the world of motorsport. Director Kosinski said: "We are the eleventh team," emphasizing the production's total immersion in this exciting sporting universe.
