Midnights: Taylor Swift is back

Midnights is the title of new studio album by American singer Taylor Swift.

We all know Taylor Swift for her heartbreaking lyrics, her impeccable style, and, of course, the controversies that surround her.

The 11-time Grammy winner has not stopped adding hits in her 16-year musical career, navigating sounds that are far from each other and reinventing herself whenever she can to convey what she feels at any given moment.

Already in 2006, the singer was at the top of the country charts in the United States with her eponymous album. However, it would not be until 2008, with Fearless, that she would begin to gain fame through hit songs about her first teenage love (Love Story, You Belong With Me), including one about her brief relationship with Joe Jonas (Forever and Always).

At the age of 20, Taylor Swift felt like she was on the cusp, but then she got even higher.

This July 21, 2022, Taylor brought out her tenth album, Midnights.

And the name is no coincidence, as it portrays those ideas, things, or sensations that keep us awake at night. Its 13 songs (a symbolic number for the artist) were written over several years and were set to succeed Lover, but fate intervened.

From day, we move to the convulsive early morning, where Taylor reflects on her accomplishments, regrets and the great love in her life, actor Joe Alwyn. Her style is a mortar of all of the above and draws from the facetious decade of the 70s.
