Dua Lipa is set to make her big screen debut on a new spy film called 'Argylle', adaptating the upcoming
September 2022 book of the same name by Ellie Conway,
starring alongside Henry Cavill, Ariana DeBose, Catherine O'Hara and many more.
Spy movies are always a classic, from Mission: Impossible, to James Bond, to the comedic masterpiece
Charlie's Angels, Spy movies always work if you know how to turn them into something great.
There's a formula you should follow, of course, at least when it comes to the basics, but you can
always make decisions that can bring the movie to a higher level, or make it fresh and innovating,
and we're hoping that this movie will find the way to bring something new to the table, specially
with the amazing ensemble cast that they chose for Argylle.
We don't know much about the characters in Argylle, other than the first looks we already saw,
but the premise of both the movie and the book, follows a world-class spy with memory loss,
that's living a life that is not his, but suddenly recovers his memories and wants to get revenge,
after remembering everything that the organization he worked for did to him. It doesn't sound
groundbreaking of course, but it has the potential to turn into something great, we still have
to get to know the characters and how the evolve, their motives, and if there's any good reason for
us to love them, there's a lot of things that can happen with a simple plot.
The movie is set to premiere this year 2022, distributed by Apple TV, but we don't have an exact premiere
date just yet, but definitely something to look up to, especially if you're a Dua Lipa fan, since she also
will be colaborating in the soundtrack of the movie with some original songs.
