Director Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman saga), is ready to release his new blockbuster, Argylle. The film, scheduled for release on February 2, 2024, released its first official trailer and features an all-star cast that includes superstars such as Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, Bryce Dallas Howard, John Cena, Bryan Cranston, Samuel L. Jackson and Sam Rockwell. The film is in the final stages of production and will release in early 2024 via Apple TV+.
The cast is one of the strong points of this production. Cavill, remembered for his role as Superman in Man of Steel and his recent final appearance in The Witcher series, takes on the lead role of Argylle, a spy who loses his memory and becomes convinced he is an author of espionage novels. When he regains his memories, he decides to confront the organization that took everything from him. The story is based on an as-yet-unpublished novel by author Elly Conway, whose book is expected to hit bookstores on 3
Likewise, singer and pop star Dua Lipa, who has gained popularity in the music world, makes her acting debut with this film. The artist follows the trend of musicians who have ventured into acting, such as Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. And of course, she is also part of the soundtrack for the film.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who everyone knows for her work in the Jurassic World trilogy, and John Cena, who has become more notorious thanks to the last two Fast and Furious installments and his foray into DC with the Peacemaker series, are also part of the film. Argylle will hit the theaters in U.S. theaters on February 2, 2024.
