Chris Pratt won't have an Italian accent in Mario's Movie

Illumination, responsible for such fun movies such as Despicable Me (2010) and Minions (2015) it is actually working

with Nintendo to adapt 'Super Mario Bros.'

The franchise already had a movie in the past, which was not a success at all.

However, both Illumination and Nintendo want to leave that behind and create a fun cinematic production.

One of them is around Chris Pratt, about whether or not he will have the character's famous Italian accent.

Thus, Chris Meledandri, producer of the adaptation and CEO of Illumination, was the one who cleared the doubt.
