House of Spoils: Official Trailer and Poster

House of Spoils is the most recent approaching film from Prime Video, starring Academy Winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Arian Moayed (Spiderman: No Way Home), and Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria). Today, Amazon dropped the official trailer and poster for the film, which will make its world debut at Fantastic Fest on September 21st and then stream on the platform on October 3rd. Prime Video describes the movie as a mistery comedy project, besides DeBose, Moayed, and Ferreira, House of Spoils also features Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas, as reported by Collider.

As for DeBose, the actress is known for her performances on stage and screen, with remarkable credits including Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, which earned her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2022. Aditionally, she has received multiple accolades, including a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe Award. In 2022, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

An ambitious chef (DeBose) buys a secluded house to fulfill her dream of opening a restaurant. However, her new home harbors dark secrets. As strange occurrences begin to happen in the kitchen, her culinary passion transforms into a fight for survival against a supernatural force threatening to destroy both her restaurant and her sanity. Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse Television collaborated with directors Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy, who also wrote the screenplay for House of Spoils. In addition, Zoe Hegedus, a food stylist specializing in movie and TV food, immersive dining experiences, and edible tablescapes, also contributed to the film.
