Caddo Lake: Official trailer out now!

Caddo Lake is coming to month next to inaugurate spooky season and poster. This project plunges viewers into the depths of Louisiana's mysterious Caddo Lake, a place steeped in eerie beauty and dark legends. The film follows a group of friends who find themselves trapped in a terrifying nightmare during a weekend getaway. As they delve into the lake's secrets, they encounter sinister forces that threaten their very existence; perfect story ahead of Halloween season. Leading part is in charge of Dylan O'Brien, joining them are Diana Hopper (Goliat), Sam Hennings (4 days), and Eliza Scannen (Sharp Objects/Little Women).

The direction team behind Caddo Lake include Logan George and Celine Held. Their previous work, including Topside and the short Caroline, has already impressed us. Their directorial talents have also been showcased in episodes of Servant and His Dark Materials. To top it all off, they wrote the screenplay for this film as well.

As the tension mounts, the trailer reveals glimpses of haunting imagery, including a mysterious figure lurking in the shadows, a dilapidated house shrouded in fog, and a menacing bull charging through the water. The film's score is equally chilling, adding to the overall sense of dread and suspense around this both famous and mysterious lake, Caddo Lake. However, their tranquil retreat quickly turns into a nightmare as they encounter a series of chilling events. A young girl disappears, and the friends soon realize that they are not alone on the lake. Sinister forces lurk beneath the surface, threatening their very existence. The film premieres on October 10th at MAX.
