Max and HBO have dropped a two-minute promotional video packed with exciting glimpses into their upcoming original series slated for release later this year and in 2025. Next year promises to be one of the greatest of the platform in the last years, with highly anticipated returns and new original releases.
The ad presents new footage from series like 'Creature Commandos' Max's adult animated series where Amanda Waller assembles a team of monstrous prisoners for covert operations; 'Dune: The Prophecy' an HBO drama series set in the expansive universe of Denis Villeneuve's 'Dune'; and 'The Penguin' an eight-episode DC Studios miniseries continuing Matt Reeves' epic detective saga 'The Batman.'
The ad also reveals the first images of new HBO original series 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' a television adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novel of the same title which marks the second of five Game of Thrones' approaching spin-offs. Besides, 'It: Welcome to Derry' a prequel to Andy Muschietti's successful 'IT' adaptations based on Stephen King's novel.
Additionally, the ad provides a first look at the second season of 'The Last of Us' whose first season was HBO's biggest premiere ever, as well as the third seasons of 'Industry' 'The Gilded Age' 'And Just Like That...', 'The Sex Lives of College Girls,' and one of the fan favorites, 'The White Lotus.' The ad also includes a first glimpse at the fourth and final season of 'My Brilliant Friend.'
This promotional blitz showcases the impressive lineup of content that HBO and Max are preparing for their viewers, promising this way an exciting and diverse slate of programming for the rest of the year and into 2025.
