Joker: Folie à Deux is at a fever pitch, and Warner Bros. is fueling the fire with a new teaser. Released Friday, the clip features Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck encountering Lady Gaga, serving as Harley Quinn. This teaser arrives shortly after striking new posters showcasing the dynamic duo, offering fans their best look yet at the pair. The glimpse of Gaga's Harley hints at an intriguing role that seems to mirror the unhinged energy of the Joker. The teaser showcased a courtroom filled with either the Joker’s followers or the ones who seek justice. Fleck can be seen confidently pointing towards them, stating, “Look at all these people,” also asking, "Who do you think they see?”. Warner Bros shared the clip on their X account.

The teaser also features a captivating dance sequence between Phoenix and Gaga on stage, set against a backdrop of a luminous moon. Additionally, the clip surprises us with a scene of Gaga sitting beside Joker in the courtroom, seemingly offering support without her signature makeup. The duo shares a memorable moment on the courthouse steps, surrounded by a crowd of cheering supporters and jeering detractors.

The Oscar-winner film of 2019 focuses on Arthur Fleck, a struggling comedian who descends into madness and becomes the infamous Joker. The film explores themes of mental illness, social injustice, and the potential for violence within society. As for this sequel, the film follows Arthur Fleck as he forms a bond with Harley Quinn while institutionalized in Arkham Asylum. Other cast members include Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, and Oscar nominee Catherine Keener. The film will globally premiere on October 4, 2024.
