Jacob Elordi, known for his role as Nate Jacobs in the hit series Euphoria, is positioning himself as one of the most prominent young stars in the entertainment industry. His next acting challenge will see him play none other than Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's new film Priscilla. Along with colleagues such as Jeremy Allen White (The Bear), Elordi reflects on the roles that up-and-coming actors "should" take on. Despite his success, Elordi does not forget his film roots and confesses to having grown up enjoying Christopher Nolan's version of Batman, The Dark Knight (2008). This influence led to questions about his willingness to work on a superhero movie. In an interview for GQ, the actor replied, "Not particularly, no. And obviously anything can happen, but at this stage of my life, I don't see myself having any interest in that."
However, the surprise came when Elordi revealed that he could've participate in the cast of the iconic role of Superman in the upcoming James Gunn-directed film Superman: Legacy. Faced with this proposal, Elordi was clear: "Well, I was asked to cast Superman. I immediately said, 'No, thank you.' That's too much. That's too dark for me." Despite the actor's rejection, director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), has confirmed that the release date for Superman: Legacy will remain unchanged and will continue as planned for July 11, 2025.
Although Jacob Elordi rose to prominence in the world of film and television due to his excellent performance in 'Euphoria,' the actor turned his acting career around in the Netflix production 'The Kissing Booth,' which he has confessed, he hasn't liked at all.
