The trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s 'Challengers' has been released.

Challengers is the new film from Luca Guadagnino, the director behind the Oscar-winning Call Me by Your Name. The story set in the world of tennis features performances by Zendaya (Euphoria), Mike Faist (West Side Story) and Josh O'Connor (The Crown). The two-time Emmy winner plays Tashi, a former tennis prodigy turned coach who gives her all on and off the court, no matter the consequences.

"Married to a champion on a losing streak (Faist), Tashi's strategy for her husband's redemption takes a surprising turn when she must confront the unsuccessful Patrick (O'Connor), her former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend. The romantic drama focuses on the love triangle of these three characters: Tashi, Art and Patrick. In fact, the trailer already available shows some intimate scenes shot by the actors. Tensions between them begin to rise when their professional and personal facets do not find a point of understanding. Finally, she will have to reflect on what she needs to achieve the success she craves.

Justin Kuritzkes is in charge of the screenplay on the film, while Luca Guadagnino serves as director. In addition, Amy Pascal, Guadagnino, Zendaya and Rachel O'Connor are the producers. The soundtrack was composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
