It was only a matter of time before Marvel brought Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio back together.
Both actors demonstrated great chemistry when playing their former characters in the Daredevil series.
For now, it will not be a new iteration of the series
but it has already been confirmed that the Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk characters will be reprised in 'Echo'.
Both characters came to fame thanks to the popular Netflix series about the New York antihero.
The TV fiction was acclaimed for its script and cast, as well as its cool fight choreography.
In fact, everything suggests that they will not be the only returns, as it is likely that
Krysten Ritter will also play Jessica Jones again in the series.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, it seems that the idea is for 'Echo' to include a subplot
centered on Daredevil trying to track down a former ally, who will end up being Jones.
However, none of this has been officially confirmed.
Although all signs point to Disney Plus wanting to bring back all those Marvel superheroes
who had their own series on Netflix a few years ago.
But who is Echo anyway?
Recall that 'Echo' is a spin-off of 'Hawkeye' centered on the character played by Alaqua Cox.
Alaqua plays Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, a heroine who first appeared in Hawkeye.
Her powers make her a very interesting character, and it seems that her actions will
make her face the dangers of New York.
Echo has similarities to Taskmaster, as it can replicate the combat style of its opponents.
She's an expert in martial arts and lip reading.
Maya will confront her past and reconnect with her native roots as the plot progresses.
