Only Murders in the Building season 4 premiered on back August 27, with new episodes released every Tuesday until the finale on October 8. This is one of the current most famous comedy series out, it has earned 49 Emmy Award nominations across three seasons. Most recently, Only Murders in the Building earned 21 Emmy nominations in multiple major categories, including Best Comedy Series, Best Lead Actor for Martin and Short, Best Lead Actress for Gomez, and Best Supporting Actress for Streep.
Now, Hulu has renewed Only Murders in the Building for a fifth season, as reported by Deadline. The new season of the 20th Television original comedy series will consist of 10 episodes and will begin production likely on the Summer 2025. In Season 4, Only Murders in the Building takes the trio of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel from New York City to Los Angeles to investigate the shocking death of Charles' stunt double, Sazz Pataki. Furthermore as they question whether Sazz or Charles was the intended target, their investigation leads them to a Hollywood studio producing a film based on their podcast. While racing back to New York, they embark on a new adventure, exploring the twisted lives of their building's West Tower residents.
Martin and Hoffman co-created and wrote the script for the show. Since the beggining, Hoffman, Martin, Short, Gomez, Fogelman, and Rosenthal served as executive producers for all the seasons. In addition, the returning cast of Only Murders in the Building includes Martin, Short, Gomez, and Streep. New additions to the show's ensemble are Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Richard Kind, and Melissa McCarthy.
