Marvel Television has released the first trailer and poster for its new series, Agatha All Along, which centers on the character Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn. The series will premiere its first two episodes on September 18 exclusively on Disney+. This production is a spin-off of Marvel Studios' critically successfull series, WandaVision, making its debut with a double premiere.
The series shows Agatha Harkness when, after being freed from a distorting spell by a gothic teenager, she starts a dangerous adventure. The main plot of the series focuses on the moment when Agatha, exhausted and powerless, encounters a young man with gothic features who helps her break free from the spell. "Agatha is awakened when he persuades her to take him to the legendary Witches' Path," the press release reveals. This trail is a magical journey full of challenges that promises to reward the witch with what she needs most if she can overcome it.
Actress Kathryn Hahn reprises her character while the series features a diverse array of supporting actors, including Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili, with Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza. Directing the pilot episode is Jac Schaeffer, showrunner known for her work on WandaVision.
