Every New Year's Eve, singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus presents a special to which she invites many celebrities and elite people to celebrate the beginning of a new year. The artist calls this 'New Year, New Miley' and it marks the announcement of the release of new music for 2023. As usual, Miley hosts this special with a guest of honor. Last 2021 it was Pete Davidson, while last year it was Dolly Parton. Thus, the 29-year-old American has seized the occasion and announced her new single.
Miley's next new song is titled 'Flowers' and all her fans will be able to listen to it on the platforms from January 13. With a snippet as a preview of the song's lyrics, Cyrus posted a video on her Twitter and Instagram accounts where she is seen wearing a gold-colored outfit while walking. In white letters, it reads, "New Year, new Miley, new single. 'Flowers' January 13."
Previously, her fans were excited to see her in the studio accompanied by music producer Mike Will Made-It, with whom she had previously worked for a past album. She was also together with Rae Sremmurd musicians, so it was speculated about the arrival of an eighth album among her plans for this 2023. The ex Hannah Montana's latest material is Plastic Hearts from 2020.
This latest album brought a very different Miley never seen before. 'Plastic Hearts' is easily one of the singer's best albums, with songs that reached thousands of plays such as 'Hate Me', 'Midnight Sky', 'Prisoner feat. Dua Lipa', among others. Miley's fans are very excited about this next song with which the artist will start a new musical era.
