Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" beats Shakira's song.

Miley Cyrus' recent hit, Flowers, already has over 43 million plays on YouTube, and has positioned itself as the most played song on Spotify dethroning Shakira and Bizarrap's song in their "Music Session #53". Flowers is part of her upcoming album Endless Summer Vacation, which will be out on March 10. But, although the American singer displaced Shakira's catharsis from the first place, Flowers also refers to a rebirth after heartbreak: Miley uses her talent to capture in music what it was like to overcome her separation from actor Liam Hemsworth, with whom she had a relationship of more than 10 years.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus began their courtship at the age of 16, and in December 2018 they formalized their union. However, the definitive breakup came eight months after the wedding. In Flowers, Miley walks through the process it takes to get out of a toxic relationship, and vindicates the need for self-love. Unlike the Colombian, Miley does not mention Liam; but it is known that it is for him because the song was released on January 13, the actor's 33rd birthday. "I can love me better than you can", says one of the verses.

According to fans, the lyrics of 'Flowers' answer the song 'When i was your man' by Bruno Mars. Both songs coincide specifically in the singer's part of the chorus, when for example he says: "That I should have bought you flowers, and held your hand. Should have gave you all my hours, when I had the chance. Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance". However, Miley has not yet confirmed anything.
