Days after announcing her next single 'Flowers', Miley Cyrus announces her next album. The singer has made her next album official, but in addition to this, she also announced when it will be out and the name of the album. 'Endless Summer Vacation' is the name of the singer's seventh album and will be out on March 10. In fact, the album is a "love letter to Los Angeles."
While we love the news that Miley is back, it doesn't come as a surprise. The singer had already anticipated before on social networks and through publicity around the world that in 2023 she would return to music and better than ever before. "2023 finds Miley stronger and more confident than ever. The music and imagery on 'Endless Summer Vacation' are a reflection of the strength she has found in focusing on her physical and mental well-being," reads the official bulletin distributed by Sony Music.
In fact, the actress and singer gave a small preview of the album by posting a one-minute video on her social networks in which you can see close-ups of Cyrus' face, fragments of palm trees, a pool, and a helicopter alluding to the Californian city. As the individual images run in the video, there are retro electronic sounds in the background.
"We found ourselves in the neon boat, beyond the stingrays and palm trees. Glowing creatures were descending from great heights, electric eels and red venom. In the sky, we could see riders on horseback, on kites coming toward us, kicking with laughter," says Cyrus.
The album was recorded in Los Angeles and the first song on the album will be "Flowers" which is available on January 13.
