It's been over a year since Blue Banisters, Lana Del Rey's last studio album. Since then, there has been no new music from Lana, except for the track 'Watercolor Eyes' which belongs to the soundtrack of the hit series starring Zendaya, Euphoria.
On the other hand, last June, the Los Angeles Times published an article on the 20 unforgettable concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and of course, they included Lana del Rey's, which took place on October 10, 2019. It was then, when Lana's well-known manager, Ben Mawson, was quick to react to the news and shared a screenshot of the article on Instagram with a brief message and good news for the artist's fans.
"A true star, one of the greatest living female songwriters that will influence for decades to come and a real performer that has inspired multiple generations . Big love and proud of @honeymoon forever. New music incoming." It was clear that the singer was preparing new songs. And to put all the fans' doubts to rest, Ben now made it clear on twitter, to assure that Lana del Rey's new album is "close to completion".
All the fans went absolutely crazy when they heard the news. Lana Del Rey's music is one of the most acclaimed by the public and critics, which is why the artist has been awarded multiple times. One of her most recognized albums to date is Born To Die which was out in 2012 and received several awards.
The artist released her latest album Blue Banisters in October 2021, only a few months after her previous album Chemtrails over the country club. The album received mostly positive reviews, however, singles such as Blue Banisters or Arcadia failed to receive any awards.
