Florence + The Machine is one of the most influential bands in the alternative music scene,
dominating with every album they put out, especially with the vocal power that
the vocalist, Florence Welch, possesses, and after 4 years of waiting after their
last album High Hopes, they are finally making a comeback.
Suddenly, everywhere around the United Kingdom, mysterious posters started appearing,
with a picture of Florence Welch stylized as a Tarot card, and the word 'KING'
making fans all over the place really confused as to what was happening,
because there wasn't an official announcement at the moment, it wasn't
until February 22nd that Florence Welch posted on her Instagram the same
poster that was going around, with the words "Did you miss me?" as a caption
already teasing that something was coming our way.
The same day, just a couple of hours later, a video trailer was posted,
with the caption "Tomorrow..." leaving everyone even more confused,
speculating we might be getting the music video and the song for
February 23.
In the video trailer, we can see a group of dancers, dress all in white,
trying to climb stairs, while Florence is standing high with her face covered,
suddenly looking up with the camera doing a close-up.
There weren't many details or things to pick from that teaser,
but Florence + The Machine are known for their concepts, and their well-executed,
meaningful visuals, as well as the lyrics, so we might be seeing some type
of symbolic imagery through the video.
Just like their last album, the fans have High Hopes, with this comeback,
so definitely we all excited to see what they're bringing to the table with this new act
in their career.
