In case you missed the BRITs ceremony, here's a quick summary of everything that happened,
the most relevant or unexpected wins of the night.
The first award of the night was on the major categorías, Song Of The Year, won by
Adele with the lead single of her latest album '30', 'Easy On Me',
no surprise to anyone, given that the song spend multiple weeks on the #1
spot on the charts, and '30' was one of the most anticipated albums of the decade.
Everyone knows and love Adele, and her finally coming back to music was
long-awaited, and after the excellence, she delivered with the project,
it was expected that she won her nominations,
the other two being Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year for '30'
along with Dua Lipa, who won 'Best R&B/Pop Act' after all the amazing
performances she gave with her Future Nostalgia era,
and Best International Song and Artist, won by Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish
respectively,
and Best New Artist, always one of the most expected categories,
won by Little Simz, a rapper that has been in everyone's mouth
since her song, 'Venom' went viral on TikTok and releasing her album
'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert', that received a lot of critical acclamation
for her powerful and meaningful lyrics, always with a lot of intention and
political messages.
Sadly, we didn't get to see Bree Runway in the nominees, or on stage,
even though she's currently one of the new favorite pop girls internationally, with
a lot of her songs gained a lot of traction on TikTok, like 'Hot Hot',
and her magnetic presence on stage.
We hope to see her nominated for something next year, or at least giving a
performance, that way everyone can see all that she can do, and the raw talent she possesses
