Just 24 hours before the first presentation even happened, Adele canceled all the dates
for her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace. "The show just isn't ready", the artist said on
her Instagram statement, "We've tried everything, but the show just isn't ready", she stated
with eyes full of tears, as she secured everyone that all of the days were going to be rescheduled
and asked for forgiveness, after such inconvenience for the fans who had bought tickets for the show.
Some Instagram posts have shown the stage being dismantled, as they have to change it for
the artists who are going to fill the spots Adele left open after her cancelation,
and a source stated that all of this happened because a prop pool they were
supposed to use on stage, that Adele was very disgusted with, some even said
she went on a furious rant over the said pool, where she was supposed to pull a stunt
as if she was floating on water.
But Adele had very strong opinions about the prop, calling it a 'baggy old pond'
and saying that she wouldn't allow them to use it.
Yet, Adele hasn't said a word about this, neither confirmed nor denied that this pool rant happened
and the people are wondering what really went down in those discussions,
and if she really threw all the residency out the window for one simple prop problem.
Fans are fearful that the reschedule might never happen, and they might lose their money,
so now we wait and see what the artist is going to do with all this controversy,
and she will make her first public appearance at the BRIT Awards on February 8th.
Let's hope that they find a resolution, and meanwhile, you can keep yourself updated
with the "Weekends with Adele" tab at the Caesar Palace website.
