Revealed key details about the two upcoming events.
2021 Met Gala will take place on September 13th.
Moreover, the event will be held in a more private way.
All of the assistants must wear a mask and provide vaccination proof.
This first comeback will hold the theme of "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion"
They explained that the exhibition aims to:
"to illustrate a shifting emphasis in American fashion defined by feelings of fear, delight, comfort, anxiety, well-being, loneliness, happiness, belonging, self-reflection, and self-representation among other qualities."
The co-chairs of the event will be Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish,
Poet Amanda Gorman and tennis star Naomi Osaka.
On the other hand, the 2022 edition will take place on its regular schedule
Which is the first Monday in the month of May.
Next year it will fall on May 2nd.
This exhibition has the title: "In America: An Anthology of Fashion"
and it will display:
"women's and men's historical and contemporary dress dating from the 18th century to the present in vignettes installed in select period rooms."
