Guy Ritchie and Madonna meet over a bottle of wine

Madonna’s efforts to reconcile with her son Rocco and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie seem to be paying off. The pop star received the visit of her ex on Monday night at her London home. (18.04.26).

The filmmaker is continuing to build bridges with her ex-wife, and improve their relationship, strongly damaged due to custody battle regarding the welfare of their son Rocco.

Guy arrived by car at just after 9pm with a corked bottle of wine but didn’t stay for dinner and headed home without the wine bottle half an hour later.

Guy smiled on his way out and seemed to be in good spirits, although it was a short visit.

This is the second time they meet in under a week, after ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ director also visited the pop diva’s home on Wednesday (14.04.16)

Rocco’s parents are believed to be getting back to normal, making everybody “happier”.

An insider told Mail Online: "Guy dropped Rocco at his mum’s and they had a good chat before he went off to skate with his friends.

"Everyone is happier than they have been for weeks and it’s great for all of them that life is getting back to normal."
