Several mainstream actors including Ansel Elgort, 'Harry Potter' actor Tom Felton and Whiplash star Miles Teller are all said to have auditioned for the part in a 'Star Wars' spin-off movie about Harrison Ford's legendary character.
It's said over 2,500 stars have either met about the Disney and Lucasfilm movie or sent in taped auditions to try to convince Jeanne McCarthy, the casting director, who is shortening the list for directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
According to one agent whose client has auditioned: "This has been the easiest movie to audition for. They are seeing everyone."
Apparently the casting team are looking for someone looking like a young Harrisson Ford, but with the needed charme as well, and who can handle the action scenes. They are looking for actors in their mid twenties, but this has not stopped older and younger actors to audition, like 16-year-old 'Walking Dead' actor Chandler Riggs or Mr Robot's Rami Malek, 34.
