'Cleaner' new action thriller starring Daisy Ridley

Starring Daisy Ridley (Star Wars), Clive Owen (Children of Men) and Taz Skylar (One Piece), 'Cleaner' is the upcoming addition to Sky Cinema's catalogue. An action thriller set to release on the platform on February 21, 2025.

The first trailer is out now after the only thing we could see for the movie was an exclusive look at Ridley's character, without much details about the plot or the direction of the movie.

Now we know that the action thriller follows a ex soldier working as a window cleaner for a building, having to use all her training to save the guests to a Gala after a radical group of activists take over and threaten to blow the building up if police tries anything.

If you like a good tense moment while watching a movie, 'Cleaner' looks like the perfect fit for you, with characters with grey morals and compelling backgrounds that makes it easier to empathize with the different parties instead of taking a side. Not good or bad but much more complicated and with more nuance than that.

Director Martin Campbell is behind the film, known for his action features such as 'Casino Royale', 'The Mask of Zorro' and its sequel, with Simon Uttley as the main writer, who has done other action thrillers in the past.

We can expect good things for 'Cleaner' from a team that has proven in the past they can deliver something great for the Action Thriller genre.
