Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell will headline the cast of 'A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,' a new film production directed by Kogonada. The project, which marks Robbie's first major role following the runaway success of Barbie, will reunite Farrell with the director with whom he previously collaborated on After Yang. Shooting will begin this spring in California, the Hollywood Reporter and Deadline have reported.
With an original screenplay by Seth Reiss, known for his work on The Menu, the film is as an imaginative narrative that explores the unexpected bond between two strangers. Imperative Entertainment is the production company behind the project, which counts among its producers Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Ryan Friedkin, as well as Reiss himself and Youree Henley. Specific details about the plot are still under wraps, but sources says that the story will center on an incredible adventure that connects Robbie and Farrell's characters.
This project marks a significant moment in both actors' careers.
