Just a few days ago, singer and actress Selena Gomez left behind many artists and influencers on Instagram to reach the amount of 400 million followers on the social network. The 30-year-old artist gained more than 20 million followers in just one week, when she only had 380. The origin of this began when the controversy involving Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber erupted, when both of them directly messed with the 'Only Murders in the Building' actress. Although Kylie denied all the accusations immediately, the whole scandal made many people more and more interested in Gomez's account, resulting in an impressive increase in the artist's followers.
"Wishing I could hug all 400 million of you," Selena wrote next to a collection of images taken with groups of fans at different moments of her career in which the singer and actress can be seen receiving the affection of her followers, who over the years have remained loyal to her and have supported her both in her different professional facets as a singer, actress and businesswoman and, above all, in her difficult personal episodes.
After a self-imposed Instagram detox and after revealing that it is her assistant who manages her account, in her most recent publications Selena has chosen to share personal moments of her day to day, in which she appears with friends and family, as well as unfiltered images in which she shows herself naturally and that she accompanies, generally, with messages in which you can see the process she continuously performs to improve her mental health, with the aim of sharing it with her growing number of followers.
