Bad Bunny has started 2023 with controversy. The Puerto Rican artist is into a strong controversy after a video went viral on social networks. In it, anyone can see when the 'Yonaguni' artist throws a female follower's cell phone into the sea in the Dominican Republic. The video, which is all over the internet and social networks and in fact has already gone around the world, shows how during his stroll through Casa de Campo, in La Romana, in eastern Dominican Republic, a fan tried to take a selfie with the rapper. Bad Bunny, apparently annoyed, snatched the phone from her and threw it into the water to the astonishment of the young woman and other fans. "Te burlaste, ahí te burlaste", says one of those present to the artist, who continues to walk with several friends
On the other hand, other fans close to the artist at the time, reproached the singer of the worldwide hit "Tití me preguntó" for his action, as can be heard in the video. Thus, a voice, which seems to be that of the artist, asks to "respect the space", to which a fan responds: "We love you anyway". After the controversy, Bad Bunny wrote on his Twitter account: "The person who approaches me to say hello, to tell me something or just to meet me, will always receive my attention and respect. But, he warned, "those who come to put a phone bastard in my face I will consider it for what it is, a lack of respect and I will treat it the same way". Likewise, many say that the young woman, whose name is not public yet, may take action against the musician for assault.
