Twitter shuts down rapper Kanye West Twitter account over an anti-Semitic tweet posted on Saturday.

In the now-withdrawn tweet, the artist makes offensive comments against the Jewish community.

In addition to some ironic remarks towards an unspecific group.

Twitter did not say how long the account would be frozen or when the user would be able to tweet again.

The rapper has been causing problems on social media since wearing a T-shirt proclaiming "White Lives Matter".
