It's been five long years but Paramore is finally back. The band, which has always been successful, made its official comeback through its social networks. Through a post on Instagram, the group anticipated that on September 28 they will release "This is Why", their first song after the release of After Laughter (2017). In addition to the official announcement of the song, the group unveiled the cover track where they are seen sticking their faces against a glass. In the image we can see the three members; Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro.
After After Laughter, their last studio album, the band took a break and Williams concentrated on her solo career. In fact, the artist made different releases such as; Petals for Armor (2020) and Flowers for Vases / descansos (2021). Likewise, during the promotion of her first album, the singer stated that Paramore had not broken up and that she was confident that her bandmates would not interpret her new direction as a search for better horizons.
Although their next track is soon to be released, another important news from the band should not be forgotten. Paramore is about to start their fall tour, which has already had dates announced some time ago. The tour will travel throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. It will begin on October 2 in Bakersfield, and will culminate on November 19 of this year at the Corona Capital festival. On the other hand, a while back, Hayley and Billie Eillish sharing an iconic moment on stage. The two artists teamed up to perform 'Misery Business'. Also, in a podcast for BBC Sounds called Everything is Emo, the band's vocalist talked about the genre and how she assures that, to this day, there are many people who don't understand it.
