As it happens every year for every film enthusiast, the most awaited ceremony is almost here: the Oscars.
Yesterday February 8th, the Acadamy revealed the nominees for all the categories, letting people
free to bet and speculate who's going to win each category until March 27th,
that's when the actual ceremony is going to happen.
We got to see a lot of British excellence in this year's nominations,
like Benedict Cumberbatch receiving the "Best Actor in a Leading Role" nomination
for his participation in 'The Power of the Dog' by Jane Campion, as well as
Olivia Colman receiving another Oscars nomination for "Best Actress in a Leading Role"
and her prolific work with 'The Lost Daughter', and at last, the amazing actress Judi Dench
received another nomination for "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" for her
appearance in 'Belfast'.
Both 'Belfast' and 'The Power of the Dog' received a "Best Picture" nomination,
and instead of Gaga in the Best Actress category, as we predicted, we saw
Kristen Stewart up there for her amazing interpretation of Princess Diana,
in Pablo Larrain's 'SPENCER'.
