Alison Hammond has been selected to host a new special edition of ITV's morning show This Morning.
The TV personality and ITV correspondant will be in front of a new This Morning special alongside Dermont O'Leary. The episode will air on Friday, October 23.
Hammond will not only host the show for one day, she will also be the main character of the whole special. The charismatic hostess will also assume the position of editor, replacing Martin Frizell for one day.
ITV's This Morning will be filled with delicious food recipes and fashion. The presenter will make sure everyone has a good time. Alison is ready to give a break to grueling topics like the coronavirus and fill the studio with joy.
On the other hand, Frizell admits he cannot believe he agreed to leave the creative directions of This Morning to Hammond.
In Dermont words, Alison will be leading the whole team with her unique style during the day. In this edition she will have the total control to choose the topics and items of the day.
Since her appearance at Big Brother back in 2002, Alison has won the affection of the British public. Nearly 20 years later, Hammond's television career continues to flourish thanks to her unique personality.
In the recent Black History documentary, Back To School, we were able to see a different side of Alison and hear her talk about her personal struggle and goals.
Soon we will be able to see Hammond in 'I can hear your voice', a new BBC One competition inspired by 'The Mask Singer'.
In this new BBC One show, participants will have to do lipsyncs and try to trick judges into believing they are real singers.
We are sure Alison will give us great moments of fun in each of her new projects.
