Paris Hilton and Thomas Gross split

Paris Hilton has ended her love story with Swiss Businessman Thomas Gross, after a year of dating, sources confirmed to Us Weekly magazine.

News of the separation come unexpected as Paris had previously described Thomas as “soulmate”.

She said: "Thomas is my soulmate. I’ve never been happier. He doesn’t like fame, he just wants me.

"With my previous boyfriends, I felt there was always an intention, but with him I know it’s all about love."

Paris had also mentioned a desire to marry and have children with the businessman, who she met in Cannes Film Festival.

She said: "I can’t wait to have kids. I would love to have two or three. I loved growing up with my brothers and sisters so I wouldn’t just want one.

"I’m very traditional though – I’d like to get married before I have children…

"It would be great to have a daughter – to have a mini me – so I can dress her up as me. It’s going to be so much fun."
