'HAVOC': New look at Tom Hardy in the upcoming action thriller

Netflix's upcoming action thriller 'HAVOC' just shared the official teaser starring British actor Tom Hardy as detective Walker, premiering on the streaming service this April 25.

Gareth Evans is the head of the project as writer, director and producer, alongside XYZ films and Severn Screen, under Evans' deal with Netflix, this would be the third time of the director making original films for the platform after 'The Raid' duology.

'HAVOC' is an original script following the life of Walker, a detective fighting tooth and nail with the organized crime in his city trying to rescue a politician's son. Of course, like it happens most of the time when it comes to these topics, things are not as simple and the nuances are abundant, there's not just really good guys and really bad guys, but rather a lot of gray areas.

Corruption, conspiracies and a lot of well kept secrets are lurking under the surface and our hero has to stay grounded on his morals if he wants to make a change. Forest Whitaker, Jessie Mei Li and Timothy Olyphant are playing important roles alongside Hardy, with cemented and up and coming talent in the full cast, like British actor Xelia Mendes-Jones, who we recently saw in the 'Fallout' series.
