The upcoming movie by American filmmaker Natasha Kermani, 'The Dreadful', finishes filming and enters post-production after starting the process back in November, 2024. The project, starring British actress Sophie Turner (who is also producing the film) is moving at great pace, and once it's complete, we know that True Brit Entertainment is gonna be taking care of the distribution, possibly for late 2025 or early 2026.
'The Dreadful' will serve as a reunion for Turner and her 'Game of Thrones' co-star Kit Harington, who will be playing a mysterious figure coming into the life of Anne (Turner) and her mother Moreen (Marcia Gay Harden), who live peacefully away from everyone. There aren't much more details about the plot, but for what the actors and the team have said in social media, this will be a bloody and horrifying ride.
We also know that Irish actor Laurence O'Fuarain ('Game of Thrones') and British actor Jonathan Howard are in the cast. It's not certain if this is going straight to theaters or if it's entering the festival circuit for this or the next year, but everything about it seems intriguing enough to keep us waiting for a release date or a trailer.
