Actress Halle Berry fools all her followers.

Oscar nominee and winner Halle Berry has played a prank on her fans and friends.

Through her Instagram account, the 55-year-old actress has fooled everyone.

The performer posted a photo with her partner, singer Van Hunt, standing at the chapel's altar

and pretending they were married.

Both are kissing in a very intimate and romantic atmosphere in the photo.

"well…IT’S OFFICIAL!" Halle Berry writes in the caption of the photo.

In fact, comments from their followers congratulating them on their wedding were not long in coming.

"Congratulations!!!!" replied actress Octavia Spencer.

"Congratulations, Halle Berry. Blessings to your beautiful union," also added supermodel Naomi Campbell.

However, nothing could be further from the truth.

The truth is that it was all a joke orchestrated by the actress herself.

"We were just having some New Year’s Day fun! People clearly don’t swipe as much as we thought they did.

 Thank you for the well wishes, tho’; it really touched our hearts! Now it’s OFFICIAL; the internet is no longer undefeated."

Halle Berry has clarified.

In addition, behind the image of the alleged wedding, there is another snapshot of the couple that proves

they are not married, at least for now.

In fact, Halle Berry and Van Hunt have been romantically involved since last September.

"I wish I had met him earlier so I could have loved him longer," the actress said just a few weeks

ago in an interview with 'Women's Health.'

She was already married three times: to David Justice between 1993 and 1997, to Eric Benét between 2001

and 2005, and to Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016.
