Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just got an Emmy nomination.

The Duche and Duchess of Sussex have been shaking the royal family traditions since their marriage in 2018.

Trying to inject some modernity into the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan broke protocol in several matters.

However, the pressure from the British press and misunderstandings with the family...

Led to the couple's decision of leaving the Royal family.

By retiring as active members of the Monarchy.

Still, the separation was not peaceful at all...

Which led to the interview that brought us here.

Back in March of this year, Meghan and Harry sat down with the interview star Oprah Winfrey.

Recounting their experiences while living in the UK as active members of the Royal Family.

The experiences were nothing but terrible, especially for Meghan Markle.

Who suffered from criticism, fights with Duchess Catherine, and even racist comments.

Inclouding the infamous questioning about how dark baby Archie's skin was going to be.

Markle also denounced how her request for psychological help was denied multiple times.

Similar to what happened to Princess Diana while married to Prince Charles.

The reason behind their decision to sit down and talk to Oprah, Markle stated:

As an adult who lived a really independent life to then go into this construct that is different than I think what people imagine it to be, it's really liberating to be able to have the right and the privilege in some ways to be able to say, 'Yes, I'm ready to talk.' To say it for yourself….To be able to just make a choice on your own and just be able to speak for yourself."
