Danny Dyer loves to knit in between \'EastEnders\' scenes.
The 40-year-old actor - who plays Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap - has become a big fan of making jumpers and scarves during his downtime from the show, and he is so talented with a knitting needle that people have asked him to make them some winter clothing items.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I\'m a bit of a dab hand with the knitting stuff.
"I\'m getting orders for jumpers and scarves. It\'s relaxing, too."
Danny isn\'t the only member of the Carter family who is a dab hand at knitting.
His on-screen wife Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) and Luisa Bradshaw-White - who plays Mick\'s aunt Tina Carter in \'EastEnders\' - love to knit in the show\'s green room.
Former \'Bad Girls\' star Luisa told Inside Soap magazine: "We\'ve got all these mad things that we\'re making.
"I like to make simple things, like snoods - I\'ve made them for half the cast already, and now they all want one."
Isy Suttie recently admitted she is a big fan of knitting in between takes on Channel 4 sitcom \'Damned\', and she would love to appear in \'EastEnders\' as a knitting serial killer.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I don\'t think I\'m really in \'EastEnders\' casting directors\' minds, but maybe if I have a word with Himesh I could be.
"My character could be a knitter and she could knit something to cover her tracks, that\'s a good idea.
"I will write it. If the part gets made then nobody else can play my part, it can\'t be someone from \'Downton Abbey\', it\'s got to be me."
