Johnny Depp swaps acting for Hard Rock

Johnny Depp plans to take a break from acting to focus on his singing career. The 52-year-old actor will tour with his Hard Rock band Hollywood Vampires, which features Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan.

The group have decided to play around the world after great feedback received for their performance 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday night.

Joe said about a global tour: “Yeah, we're working on it because, you know, everybody comes from different schedules, you know."

"We are all in entertainment; Johnny’s got his thing, I’ve got my thing, Alice has got his thing, and the other guys all have stuff and that’s the hardest thing because we all want to play."

He also revealed that Depp considers music even more important than acting: "It’s interesting because you know he loves the acting part. He loves the art of that, but he’ll tell you that music comes first."
