Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood ("Million Dollar Baby," "Mystic River") directs and stars as disgruntled Korean War veteran Walt, who sets out to reform his neighbour, a young Hmong teenager, who tried to steal Kowalski's prized possession: his 1972 Gran Torino.
The two learn to grow beyond their own prejudices and struggles by fighting together to change the harsh realities of racial gang violence in their neighbourhood.
