Leighton is also known for voicing "Lucinda The Witch" on Disney's Emmy winning show "Sofia The First." Leighton is an award-winning filmmaker herself with many accolades for the animated short "Planeman," on the festival circuit.
As a professional singer she has sung back-up for - Halsey on the platinum single "New Americana," has two tracks on Disney's "Sofia The First Album" as Lucinda and performed the song for "Dishonored" with a 50 piece orchestra, on the "SPIKE Video Game Awards." In her downtime, Merit enjoys dancing, K-pop, Anime, video games and, watching old movies.
